Naidu to launch several projects in Sri City today
VIJAYAWADA: Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu will launch many projects and lay foundation stones for several institutions in Sri City on Monday, August 19.
CM Naidu is scheduled to start operations of 15 organizations in Sri City and will lay the foundation stone for the establishment of 7 more institutions.
According to the CM’s schedule, Chandrababu Naidu will leave his residence in Undavalli at 10 a.m. and reach Tirupati Airport at 11:30 a.m. From there, he will proceed to Sri City by helicopter.
Officials said Chief Minister will lay foundation stones for establishment of seven additional institutions with an investment of ₹900 crore in Sri City. These will provide employment opportunities to 2,740 people.
On the day, the state government will enter into agreements with four leading companies with regard to investment of another ₹1,213 crore in Sri City. Later, the CM will participate in a meeting with CEOs of companies at Sri City Business Centre.
Chandrababu Naidu will visit the Somasila irrigation project in Nellore district after completing his engagements in Sri City. He will return to Vijayawada in the evening.
