Naidu Urged To Discuss Telugu Film Industry Promotion in Cabinet Meet

Vijayawada: The movie artistes association of AP on Saturday urged the Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, to include promotion and development of Telugu film industry in the Super Six promises his party had made during election campaign, making it into Super Seven.

Association president and film director Dilip Raja welcomed the Super Six election promises of NDA and their implementation. Mentioning about the scheduled cabinet meeting on August 27, Raja appealed to the Chief Minister to discuss in the cabinet meeting measures to be implemented by the government for the promotion of the Telugu film industry.

Dilip Raja said if the AP government constructs film studios with necessary floors in Amaravati, Tirupati and Visakhapatnam in line with Hyderabad film studios, the government will receive revenues. He said the government can construct a mega film studio in Amaravati with international standards then all film departments can shift to Amaravati.

He expressed hope that a Filmnagar can be formed in Amaravati if the film workers are allotted houses. Dilip Raja requested the Chief Minister to discuss the development of the Telugu film industry in the cabinet meeting on August 27 and announce Telugu film industry development as the Seventh Promise.
