NDA leaders file nomination papers on behalf of Ayyanna Patrudu for Speaker Post
Amaravati: NDA leaders filed a nomination on behalf of Chintakayala Ayyannapatrudu for the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly on Friday. Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan, Ministers Nara Lokesh, Payyavula Keshav, Achchennaidu, Satyakumar Yadav, Nadendla Manohar, and Dhulipalla Narendra Kumar participated in the program.
Pro tem Speaker Gorantla Butchaiah Chowdary administered the oath of secrecy to the 172 elected MLAs in the state. The three MLAs, including P. Satyanartayanam, V. Venkateswara Rao, and G. V. Anjaneyulu, who did not take the oath today, will take it tomorrow.
In the recently held Assembly elections, Chandrababu Naidu led TDP won 135 seats, Pawan Kalyan led Jana Sena won 21 seats, and BJP secured 8 seats. YS Jagan Mohan Reddy led YSRC won 11 seats.
