New AP Government on the Right Path: Minister Bharath

Kurnool: Industries minister T.G. Bharath on Monday said despite financial challenges the new state government has successfully dealt with a natural calamity and implemented welfare schemes in its first 100 days.

Speaking at the 'Idi Manchi Prabhutvam' (Good Government) programme held near the Maremma temple in Budhawarpet, Bharath assured locals that possession certificates would soon be issued for homes adjacent to the Handri river.

He credited Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu for diminishing the flood-related losses in Vijayawada earlier in September.

He stated that since the coalition government took office, numerous industrialists have expressed interest in establishing businesses in the region.

"This influx is expected to create ample job opportunities for local youths," he said, emphasising the importance of providing quality education to children.

Municipal commissioner S. Ravindra Babu highlighted the restoration of Anna Canteens across the state, providing meals for just `five. Kurnool city has five operational Anna Canteens.

He noted the locals' requests for improved sanitation, removal of low-hanging electric wires, construction of public toilets, roads, and streetlights. Later at the collectorate, Bharat inaugurated one more Anna Canteen near Kondareddy Buruju at the Old Bus Stand. He remarked that the coalition government is committed to establishing these canteens to benefit the public.
