No change in special entry darshan tickets and laddu rates in Tirumala: TTD clarifies

ANANTAPUR: Social media turned agog on Saturday with news that Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has reduced the price of Tirumala Laddu as well as special darshan.

As per this news, the price of Laddu had been reduced to ₹25 from ₹50. Further, special darshan would cost ₹200 instead of ₹300. Many devotees believed these posts and expressed gratitude to the TTD functioning under the dispensation of the Telugu Desam-led NDA alliance government.

Some devotees went on to call TTD authorities to cross check the news. TTD then clarified that the news spread on social media is fake.

Authorities have appealed to devotees not to believe the news, which may have been spread by vested interests.
