November 11–22 Final Dates for Stage-II of Police Recruitment
Vijayawada:Andhra Pradesh State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB) chairman, AK Ravi Krishna (in charge), announced that Stage-II processes for the Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET) for recruiting Stipendiary Cadet Trainee (SCT) Police Constables (Civil) for both men and women, as well as SCT Police Constables (APSP) for men, will take place from November 11 to 22. This recruitment is part of a process initially outlined in a notification issued on November 28, 2022.
Following the Preliminary Written Test (PWT) held on January 22, 2023, at 35 locations and 997 centres across the state, 95,208 of the 4,59,182 candidates qualified. However, logistical issues and pending court cases caused delays in the PMT/PET. The SLPRB now tentatively plans to conduct the tests in late December.
So far, 91,507 qualified candidates have submitted their Stage-II Online Application Forms. A final chance is being offered for remaining candidates who qualified but have yet to apply. They can submit their applications from 3:00 PM on November 11 to 5:00 PM on November 21, 2024, via the official SLPRB website, slprb.ap.gov.in.
Candidates are encouraged to regularly check the website for updates. For clarifications, they can contact helpline numbers 9441450639 and 9100203323 during office hours.
