Obtain trade licences or face action, commercial establishment owners told
Vijayawada: Vijayawada Municipal Corporation (VMC) commissioner HM Dhyanchandra warned traders of stern action if they operate businesses without obtaining trade licences from the municipal corporation. Dhyanchandra conducted a surprise inspection of commercial establishments on Krishna Lanka service road during his field visit, checking whether they had the necessary trade licences.
On the occasion, the VMC commissioner emphasised that a trade licence is mandatory for operating commercial establishments, regardless of business size. He urged owners to obtain licences to run their businesses legally. Strict action will be taken against those without valid licences, he warned.
Meanwhile, Dhyanchandra reviewed the social security pension distribution process for beneficiaries in Krishna Lanka. He noted that 62,292 out of 67,371 beneficiaries (93%) had received their pensions in Vijayawada City on the first day.
