VIJAYAWADA: South Central Railway’s Vijayawada Division observed Partition Horrors Remembrance Day with an exhibition at 11 stations. DRM Narendra Patil inaugurated the Vijayawada display, highlighting the railways’ role in the freedom struggle and the massive human displacement during partition.
The exhibition aims to educate the public about the suffering endured by ancestors. Patil paid homage to Pingali Venkayya and honored freedom fighter Goparaju Venkata Raghu Ram. Students presented a play, and a 'Har Ghar Tiranga' selfie point was set up.
