Passengers Trapped in Lift for 3 Hours at Markapuram Railway Station, Rescued

Prakasam: Passengers were trapped in a lift at Markapuram railway station in Prakasam district after the lift went beyond its limit and the doors failed to open.

Fourteen passengers, who were on their return journey from Tirumala after darshan, were left stranded for three hours. Hearing their cries, the railway police responded quickly. With no technicians available, the railway police took matters into their own hands and worked tirelessly to rescue the passengers.
