Chandrababu Naidu suffered a lot in the jail: Pawan Kalyan
Vijayawada: Jana Sena Chief Pawan Kalyan proposed the name of TD supremo N. Chandrababu Naidu as the NDA alliance's legislature party leader.
He said that the NDA alliance's victory in Andhra Pradesh was historic and is an inspiration to all other states. "The alliance had been successful in preventing splitting of the votes. This is what I stressed on repeatedly and accordingly, we have been successful in preventing anti-YSRC votes from splitting," he said.
Even the people in the state showed what it means to fight unitedly. The NDA alliance won 164 MLA seats and 21 MP seats. This is really an amazing victory, he said.
In fact, the NDA alliance could give the confidence to the public in Andhra Pradesh and this led to the landslide victory. This is not the time for revenge and personal accusations, he said and urged the people and alliance leaders to unitedly strive for the progress of the state.
Reminding that the alliance had promised to provide drinking water, health and educational facilities, Pawan Kalyan said that they would abide by the word. "It is necessary that all the promises made in the manifesto should be fulfilled. At this time, we need the leadership of an experienced leader like N. Chandrababu Naidu," he said.
He hailed Naidu for having the capability to bring in talent and investments into the state. "When Naidu was in jail, he suffered a lot. His wife Bhuvaneswari was in tears and that time, I asked her not weep. I told her that good days will come and they have come. I congratulate the TD chief from my heart. I expect that he delivers good governance," Pawan said and even embraced him.
