Physical Measurement and Efficiency Tests for AP Police Recruitment Rescheduled in Five Districts
Vijayawada: The State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB) of Andhra Pradesh has announced changes to the schedule for the Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET) for certain districts. The revised dates apply to the recruitment of SCT Police Constables (Civil) and SCT Police Constables (APSP).
The PMT/PET events, which commenced on December 30, 2024, and are set to conclude on February 1, 2025, have been rescheduled in five districts due to the Vaikunta Ekadasi festival and law-and-order concerns.
In Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, and Visakhapatnam, the tests have been rescheduled to January 11, 2025, from the previously scheduled date of January 8, 2025. In Ananthapuramu, the tests will now be conducted on January 17, 18, and 20, 2025, instead of the originally scheduled dates of January 8 to 10, 2025. Similarly, in Chittoor, the events have been shifted to January 17 and 18, 2025, from the earlier dates of January 8 and 9, 2025.
Candidates scheduled for these dates must attend the tests as per the revised timetable. Those with other examination commitments during the new dates can participate in the tests on alternative working days after January 16, 2025, for Ananthapuramu and Chittoor, and after January 8, 2025, for Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, and Visakhapatnam, upon providing sufficient proof.
The schedule for all other districts remains unchanged. Candidates seeking further clarification can contact the helpline at 9441450639 or 9100203323 during office hours.
