Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh BJP president D. Purandeswari called upon members of the Mahila Morcha to play an active role in the party’s membership drive in the state. Participating in a workshop on the Mahila Morcha’s membership drive at the party office in Vijayawada on Wednesday, Purandeswari emphasised that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been implementing several welfare schemes for the benefit of women and expressed that there is nothing women cannot achieve.
Mahila Morcha state president Nirmala Kishore, along with national social media wing in-charge Sujatha Pade and other leaders, discussed strategies to significantly expand the membership drive in Andhra Pradesh. The leaders were asked to conduct meetings at the district and mandal levels across the state. BJP leaders urged activists to ensure the drive's success by participating in large numbers.
