Hyderabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke with Telugu Desam Party chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu over a phone call on Tuesday and congratulated him on the victory in Andhra Pradesh Assembly polls, according to reports.
PM Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah have both spoken to Naidu and congratulated the former CM as the TDP-Janasena-BJP alliance is racing towards the majority.
Chandrababu Naidu speaking to the national leaders extended greetings on the good performance of BJP and the NDA alliance in the Lok Sabha polls.
According to the ECI trends, TDP is leading in 132 seats, while the Jana Sena and BJP are leading in 20, 7 assembly seats respectively. In Lok Sabha polls the NDA is leading in over 290 seats, while the I.N.D.I.A alliance is leading in over 230 seats.
