Posani Krishna Murali sent to 14-day judicial remand
Posani was arrested in Hyderabad on Thursday by Railway Kodur police and produced before the magistrate in the early hours of Friday

Anantapur: The Railway Kodur magistrate court in Annamayya district ordered a 14-day judicial remand for film actor Posani Krishna Murali on Friday following a case filed by a Janasena leader over his alleged abusive comments on social media.
Posani was arrested in Hyderabad on Thursday by Railway Kodur police and produced before the magistrate in the early hours of Friday. He was then shifted to Rajampet sub-jail, where he will remain until March 13.
Police have filed a petition seeking five days of custody, alleging that Posani's remarks aimed to incite caste tensions and insulted Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan, and minister Nara Lokesh. The remand report also mentioned his vulgar comments about the Nandi Awards Selection Committee. At least 14 cases have been registered against him across the state.
Annamayya SP Vidyasagar Naidu and his team questioned Posani for nine hours at Obulavaripalle police station. His friend, who met him on Friday, reported that he was suffering from health issues, including stomach pain.
Former Anantapur MP Ananta Venkatrami Reddy condemned the arrest, calling it unfair as Posani was unwell and had been taken into custody without prior notice.
