Prime Minister Modi Praises Araku Coffee
Visakhapatnam: Prime Minister Narendra Modi underscored the significance of preserving tribal culture while highlighting Araku coffee, a product cultivated by tribal farmers in Andhra Pradesh, known for its exceptional aroma and flavour. He remarked that Araku coffee has achieved international acclaim and is celebrated worldwide, even prominently featured at events such as the G20 Summit.
During the celebrations for the 150th birth anniversary of tribal leader Bhagwan Birsa Munda in Jamui, Bihar, Modi commended ASR district ITDA officer Abhishek for his leadership and acknowledged the substantial advancements made in delivering essential services like Ayushman Bharat cards and housing to tribal families. He noted that over 22,000 houses have been allocated under the Piyam Jan Man scheme, along with thousands of Aadhaar cards and bank accounts opened for Ujjwala gas connections.
A notable aspect of the event was the involvement of tribals from Kottabhallu Guda in Andhra Pradesh, facilitated by ITDA Project Officer Abhishek. The tribals presented an album showcasing various development initiatives in their villages, including drinking water projects and housing efforts. This album was presented to Modi, who took time to engage with the community and inquire about their welfare programs.
