Public Grievance Forum Held in Nellore, Ministers Address Concerns
Tirupati: A special public grievance redressal forum was held at the Tikkana Pranganam in Nellore district on Friday. Led by municipal administration and urban development minister Dr Ponguru Narayana and health minister Y. Satya Kumar Yadav, the event aimed to address public concerns directly.
The forum, organised as per Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu's directives, saw a large turnout with people submitting petitions to the ministers. Dr Narayana assured the public that immediate solutions would be provided for resolvable issues, while others would be forwarded to concerned departments or state-level authorities.
A significant portion of the complaints pertained to revenue matters, according to the minister. He further emphasised the government's commitment to improving administrative efficiency and responsiveness to public needs.
Addressing media queries, Dr. Narayana vowed strict action against irregularities in Jagananna Layouts and cases of forgery in Nellore Municipal Corporation and the district health department.
Nellore Rural MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy, District collector O. Anand, SP Krishna Kant, and in-charge joint collector Surya Teja were also present at the forum.
