Rains bring down temperature in AP
Storms to continue till April 7

Visakhapatnam: The iterations of thunderstorms across the state brought down the temperature by five degrees Celsius, while IMD Amaravati on Friday forecast more rainfall till Monday, April 7.
The report said thunderstorms accompanied by lightning are likely at isolated places over north and south coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam and Rayalaseema. Gusty winds with speeds of 40-50kmph are also likely at isolated places over the same area till April 7.
The gradual rise in maximum temperature by 2-4 degrees is likely during the 5 days from April 7 over north and south coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam. There will be no change in maximum temperature in Rayalaseema.
In Anantapur, the temperature fell by 4.9 degree Celsius to record a heat of 34.1 degrees. Kurnool recorded 34.9 degrees and the maximum temperature fell by 4.7 degrees. Cuddapah recorded 36 degrees where maximum temperature fell by 4.3 degrees. Nandyal recorded 36 degrees with the drop of maximum by 3.5 degrees.
In Visakhapatnam, the maximum temperature rose by 4 degrees to 35.8 degrees. The city witnessed hot and humid weather throughout the day with hot winds blowing at many places.
