TDP Rajahmundry City MLA candidate Adireddy Vasu won over his nearest rival and YSRC candidate Margani Bharat Ram with a majority 55,000 votes.
The TD is heading towards a thumping victory in Andhra Pradesh with the candidates of the party and the alliance partners leading in a majority of the constituencies in the state.
In the current scenario, the YSRC might not be able to at least win the necessary number of seats to sit in the opposition benches.
