Vijayawada: The 76th Indian Republic Day was celebrated with grandeur at the Indira Gandhi Municipal Corporation Stadium in Vijayawada on Sunday. The event featured an impressive display of 18 themed tableaux, crafted by various government departments to align with the visionary aspirations of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. These tableaux were inspired by the "Swarna Andhra @ 2047" vision document, which outlines ten principles for progress and captured the attention of thousands of spectators.
Among the entries, three tableaux were recognised as the best. The tableau from the Skill and Human Resource Development departments (HRD/Skill Development, Health, Medical, and Family Welfare, Women and Child Welfare) secured first place. The Quality Products and Branding tableau, presented by the Horticulture Department, won second place, while the Global-Best Logistics tableau, featuring the CRDA/Urban Development, Panchayati Raj, and Rural Development departments, achieved third place.
These tableaux showcased the state government's commitment to holistic development and welfare, reflecting its dedication to visionary governance.
