Vijayawada: Lala Bala Naga Dharma Singh, a retired sub-registrar from Ibrahimpatnam, has urged the Andhra Pradesh government to probe alleged illegal land registrations in Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, and Rajamahendravaram. He claims these scams, amounting to hundreds of crores, were carried out under the influence of YSR Congress supporters.
In a letter to Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and IT Minister N. Lokesh, Singh accused YSR Congress members, including Y.S. Sunil Reddy and K.N.R., of coercing him into illegal registrations. He also alleged they seized his properties and forced him to mortgage his house for ₹30 lakh. Singh has sought protection, fearing threats to his life, and demanded action against those involved.
