Rs 1.20 lakh crore loan without implementing any welfare schemes

Vijayawada: Former minister Ambati Rambabu accused Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu of financial mismanagement, double standards, and vindictive politics. Speaking to the media on Thursday, Rambabu claimed that Naidu, who is implicated in the cash-for-vote case, had borrowed Rs 1.20 lakh crore without implementing any promised welfare schemes. He also described the "Super Six" initiative as a failure.

Rambabu condemned Naidu’s vindictive approach, particularly towards the Perni Nani family. He questioned the need for a criminal case against Perni Nani’s wife over discrepancies in rice stock, calling it a petty and vindictive act. Rambabu further accused the government of harassing YSRC cadres and social media activists by filing false cases and criticised the demolition of YSRC offices.
He highlighted that despite the large loan, Naidu's welfare schemes had failed to materialise, revealing his true character. Rambabu also criticised Naidu for staying silent on the SECI agreement, stating there was little to show for his six-month term, other than harassing IPS officers without assigning them postings.
