Adoni MLA joins villagers in sanitation drive
Adoni MLA Dr P.V. Parthasarathi participated in a cleanliness drive at Dibbanakallu village on Saturday. Armed with a broom, he helped clean the streets and interacted with residents, who raised concerns over clogged drains, foul odour, and mosquito problems.
Expressing dissatisfaction with the local panchayat secretary’s performance, he joined villagers in clearing drains. Sanitation workers also voiced grievances about unpaid wages. The MLA assured them of his support and urged them not to halt sanitation work.
However, local women demanded that he address their water crisis before prioritising sanitation.
