Vijayawada: Former Chief Minister and YSRCP president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Thursday said a scary atmosphere was prevailing in Andhra Pradesh following attacks carried out by TDP leaders.
In the wake of scary situation, he requested the Andhra Pradesh Governor to intervene and prevent the terror atmosphere created by TDP gangs.
Even before the formation of TDP government, the TDP gangs were going on a rampage attacking the government and private properties including Village Secretariats and Rythu Bharosa Kendra (RBKs), he said in a tweet. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s tweet comes two days after the party's drubbing in the elections.
“There is no protection to the leaders and activists of YSRCP in the State and following pressure from the TDP the police department became ineffective,” he said, adding that the law and order that was peaceful for the last five years was being affected with these incidents.
