Vijayawada: In a landmark event, Narendra A. Patil, divisional railway manager of Vijayawada Division, South Central Railway, unveiled the logo designed exclusively for SCR RailFans at Vijayawada Railway Station. The initiative celebrates the SCR RailFans community, who have long been ambassadors of Indian Railways, capturing its legacy through photography, stories, and passion. The logo was designed by Ms. Nusrat M. Mandrupkar, Public Relations Officer of the Vijayawada Division, SCR.
Patil expressed gratitude to the community, stating, "RailFans are the heart and soul of Indian Railways' extended family. Their dedication inspires millions. This logo is a tribute to their efforts and a symbol of our shared journey." He also praised RailFans for their role in social initiatives, rail safety, heritage conservation, and innovation.
SCR RailFans is a vibrant community of over 125 photographers, videographers, and vloggers. Around 25 members from cities like Hyderabad, Vijayawada, and Visakhapatnam attended the logo launch ceremony.
