Vijayawada: The state government has formed a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe alleged irregularities and corruption in the Andhra Pradesh State Beverages Corporation Limited (APSBCL) from October 2019 to March 2024. This move follows a case registered at the CID Police Station under sections 420, 409, and 120-B of the IPC.
S.V. Rajasekhar Babu, Commissioner of Police, NTR Police Commissionerate, Vijayawada, will lead the team, with seven other officers serving as its members. The team will operate under the control, supervision, and direction of the Director General of Police, CID.
