Kakinada: A snake created panic in the "Godavari Bhavan" meeting hall at the Dr B.R. Ambedkar Konaseema district collectorate on Saturday. Employees spotted the snake in the hall, used for meetings and public grievance redressal. The incident caused alarm among staff, who quickly summoned snake catcher Ganesh Varma.
The snake was found stuck in a corner of the hall. Varma took two hours to safely capture the snake, which he identified as a "Jerrycan." The reptile was later released into a nearby forest. Collector Office Administrative Officer Visweswara Rao thanked Varma for his efforts, which brought relief to the employees.
