Vijayawada: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has directed officials to accelerate data integration among government departments. During a review meeting on the Real-Time Governance Society (RTGS) at the Secretariat on Monday, he emphasised the need for seamless data consolidation to enhance service delivery. He stated that integrating all departmental data into a centralised data lake would enable faster and more efficient governance.

He also emphasised expanding WhatsApp Governance to provide more citizen services and instructed officials to eliminate any technological barriers that come in the way of users.

On public safety, the Chief Minister noted that 14,770 CCTV cameras are operating in the state. He underscored the importance of AI-driven surveillance in crime detection, directing that alerts should be sent to senior officers immediately after a crime is detected. He also suggested proactive monitoring of known troublemakers to prevent disturbances.
