Kurnool: Following a complaint about an outsourced employee's inappropriate behavior, Srisailam Devasthanam Executive Officer (EO) D. Peddi Raju took swift action by suspending two staff members on Friday night.
The incident involved P. Nagendram, an outsourced staff member working in the temple queue lines, who was reportedly found consuming alcohol and verbally abusing devotees.
In response, EO Peddi Raju ordered the suspension of AEO of queue lines G. Swamulu and in-charge superintendent Ganji Ravi. P. Nagendram has been removed from his duties, and his employer, Karthikeya Security Agency, is expected to provide an explanation.
Furthermore, a charge memo has been issued to both AEO Swamulu and in-charge superintendent Ravi. EO Peddi Raju emphasised their commitment to maintaining the sanctity of the temple and ensuring a respectful experience for devotees.
