Steering Committees to Be Constituted for ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’

Vijayawada:Chief Secretary Neerabh Kumar Prasad announced the Swachhata Hi Seva (SHS) 2024 campaign, themed “Swabhav Swachhata – Samskar Swachhata.” The state-wide cleanliness initiative will run from September 17 to October 2, with preparatory events starting September 13.

This year marks a decade of the campaign, which honours Mahatma Gandhi on his birthday. The Chief Secretary chaired the first State Steering Committee meeting, directing officials to prepare thoroughly. A 360-degree multimedia advocacy plan will be implemented to promote the campaign, highlight best practices, and provide updates.

Collectors and department officials are advised to conduct the SHS-2024 campaign with enhanced care and discipline.
