Suitable Action Will Be Taken Over TD Leader Attack: JS Secretary

Vijayawada: Responding to the “alleged” attack on Telugu Desam leader SVSN Varma in Pithapuram by some Jana Sena leaders, its secretary K Naga Babu said the party has been collecting details about the incident. The incident took place at Vannepudi village in Gollaprolu Mandal in Pithapuram assembly on last Friday night.

“Appropriate action will be taken against those found guilty,” Naga Babu said in a statement on Sunday.

Naga Babu said the party was aware of the skirmishes between TD and JS workers over the Aparna Devi Amma Vari temple committee takeover at Tatiparthi village in Pithapuram. “The issue will be resolved after holding discussion with local JS leaders. It will be resolved under the supervision of JS Pithapuram coordinator Mareddy Srinivas,” Naga Babu said.

Appealing to the JS workers to exercise restraint, Naga Babu said , “JS chief and Pithapuram MLA-elect Pawan Kalyan who is playing a key role in the NDA alliance will visit Pithapuram constituency after the swearing-in ceremony of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.”
