TD govt committed to potholes-free roads: Min. Kollu Ravindra
Vijayawada: Excise, mines and geology minister Kollu Ravindra assured that there will be no potholes on roads in the state during the next five years.
He spoke to media along with APSRTC chairman Konakalla Narayana at the party office in Machilipatnam on Sunday ahead of launching the pot-holes-free programme in the town from Monday.
Ravindra maintained that the state government will fill all potholes on roads across the state by Sankranti. He revealed that the state government is preparing plans to develop Koneru Centre, a prominent place in Machilipatnam under the Private Public Partnership (PPP) mode.
The minister announced that the Telugu Desam-led NDA alliance government aims to complete the Machilipatnam Port by 2025. Development works at the Fishing Harbour will also be completed within the stipulated time, he stated.
