Vijayawada: Scores of TDP supporters hurled eggs on the house of former YSRCP MLA Kodali Nani in Gudivada in Krishna district on Friday as they were furious over the latter’s remarks made earlier against the TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu
Irate party supporters wearing yellow scarves brought a tray full of eggs and started attacking Nani’s house. The police, who were posted at the house of Nani, tried to pacify them but in vain. Though concertina wire fencing was placed abutting the compound wall, the cadre continued to throw eggs on Nani’s house.
The cadre was furious over Nani who made remarks against Naidu. During media interactions also, Nani continued his tirade against Naidu who, in turn, responded asking the former to mend his ways. Nani suffered a defeat in the recently held elections in Andhra Pradesh. He served as Minister during YSRCP’s tenure.
