Visakhapatnam: The Centre has issued a notice inviting tenders for the construction of the General Manager’s office complex for the South Coast Railway Zone at Visakhapatnam. The proposed structure will feature nine floors, including two basement levels, a ground floor, and associated facilities. According to the notice, the tender submission deadline is December 12. The project is estimated to cost ₹149.16 crore.
The Chandrababu Naidu-led government had previously allocated 53 acres of land for the construction of the railway zone’s office.
