Visakhapatnam: Pedabayalu Police in the Alluri Sitarama Raju (ASR) district dismantled a significant ganja transportation network on 30 November, seizing approximately 275 kilograms of cannabis.
During a routine vehicle inspection, Station Inspector K. Raman intercepted two autorickshaws and three individuals on motorcycles travelling from Odisha to Kothaputtu Junction via Ruda Kota. The arrested individuals were identified as Dambaru Tungal from Bodapada village, Mohan Kemudu from Doliam village, and Korra Baburao from Dumbaguda village.
Police have registered a case and are investigating further to uncover the broader network involved in the smuggling operation.
