Three Killed As Bike Rams Lorry In Vizianagaram

Visakhapatnam: Three persons were killed in a road accident near Bhogapuram in Vizianagaram district on Tuesday.

According to police, the accident occurred when a speeding motorcycle rammed into the rear of a lorry moving ahead of it. The impact was severe and all three persons travelling on the two-wheeler died on the spot.

Locals alerted the authorities, following which police rushed to the scene, registered a case and launched an investigation.

Preliminary inquiries indicated that overspeeding was the main cause of the accident.

The bodies were shifted to a government hospital for post-mortem examination.
