Tirumala Laddu Controversy: CM Chandrababu Orders Immediate Report

Vijayawada: Chief Minister Chandrababu conducted a high-level review at the Secretariat concerning the quality issues and the use of impure ingredients in the preparation of Tirumala laddus during the previous government's tenure.

The Chief Minister reviewed the Tirumala issue with Neerab Kumar Prasad, the Chief Secretary of the AP government, and ministers Anam Ramanarayana Reddy, Nimmala Ramanaidu, Anagani Satya Prasad, Kollu Ravindra, and Kolusu Parthasarathy, along with senior officials. The Chief Minister has ordered the TTD Executive Officer to submit a comprehensive report on the mistakes made during the previous government’s term by this evening.

The CM announced that measures would be discussed and implemented with the Agama, Vedic, and religious councils to preserve the sanctity of Tirumala. CM Chandrababu stated that they would protect the devotees' faiths and temple traditions.
