TIRUPATI: A couple from Uttar Pradesh got killed in a road accident on the Bengaluru-Tirupati national near the National Atmospheric Research Laboratory in Gadanki of Pakala mandal in Tirupati district on Wednesday.
According to police, Ashish Goyal (30) had been going in his car from Bengaluru towards Tirupati along with his wife Jyoti Goyal (34) and seven-year-old son Sushaal Goyal.
Driving at a high speed, Ashish rammed his car into a lorry moving ahead, resulting in a devastating impact.
Ashish and Jyoti Goyal sustained severe injuries in the accident and died on the spot. Their son Sushaal Goyal suffered injuries and has been shifted to S.V.R. Ruia Government General Hospital for treatment.
Police have registered a case.
