Tirupati: The Tirupati Municipal Corporation will conduct an auction for the Settipalli fish pond and Chakrala Banda tank on Saturday, August 17 at 11 am, announced commissioner N. Maurya on Wednesday.
The commissioner informed that participants must bring Aadhaar card, PAN card, GST registration documents, two passport-size photos, and either a solvency certificate or bank guarantee for Rs10 lakh. Additionally, a deposit of Rs 10 lakh is required.
She suggested the participants submit documents for verification and the deposit at the municipal office before 10 am on the auction day. This public auction aims to lease out the fishing rights for these water bodies within the corporation’s jurisdiction.
