Tirupati SP Urges Ganesh Pandal Organisers to Utilise Single-Window System

Tirupati:Tirupati district superintendent of police (SP) L. Subba Rayudu has urged Ganesh pandal organisers in the district to make use of the newly implemented single-window clearance system for the upcoming Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations.

Speaking to reporters here on Monday, Rayudu said this system is designed to simplify the approval process by allowing pandal organisers to apply online for all necessary permissions from various departments such as police, fire, municipal, and electricity in one go.

Organisers can visit ganeshutsav.net to submit their applications, providing details about the pandal location, idol size, installation date, and immersion plans. For guidance on the application process, organisers can send a "Hi" message via WhatsApp to 7995095800 and receive instructions directly on their mobile phones.

“Previously, obtaining permissions required visiting multiple departments, but the government has now streamlined this process to enhance convenience for the public. After submitting the necessary details online, the application is forwarded to the police station concerned. A team led by the station house officer will inspect the site and, if all conditions are met, notify organisers of the required fees," the SP explained.

According to the SP, the fees can be paid at the nearest Mee Seva Centre, and the receipt uploaded on the website will prompt the issuance of a QR-coded No Objection Certificate (NOC), which must be displayed at the pandal. SP Rayudu urged all pandal organisers to take advantage of this initiative to avoid unnecessary hassle and focus on celebrating the festival with their families.
