Two electrocuted while loading bananas into vehicle

Anantapur: Two men were electrocuted while loading bananas onto a vehicle in Mahanandi Mandal, Nandyal district, on Sunday. The deceased have been identified as Sheik Nagoor Bhaha from Abbepuram and Raghavendra from Nunepalli. The tragic incident occurred near Thimmapuram, where the duo was unloading bananas into the vehicle. After filling the vehicle, they came into contact with live electrical wires and were electrocuted on the spot. Mahanandi electricity assistant engineer (AE) Prabhakar Reddy confirmed that the accident took place when the victims accidentally touched the live wires while shifting the agricultural produce.
