Kurnool: Two women of Kurnool were killed in an autorickshaw accident in Manopadu mandal, Telangana, on Thursday. The victims, hailing from E-Thandrapadu village in Kurnool mandal, were on their way to work as labourers when their vehicle overturned near Undavilli Dhaba. The deceased were identified as Telugu Sujatha, 25, and Telugu Lakshmi Devi, 55, from E-Thandrapadu. Lakshimi Devi died on the spot, while Sujatha succumbed to injuries while being treated at Kurnool Government General Hospital. Local people report that 17 people were travelling in the vehicle at the time of the accident. Of these, 15 sustained injuries. The police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.
