The Union Bank of India regional office, Srikakulam, conducted a service programme under their Empower Her and Power Him initiative, distributing 200 blankets and essential commodities such as rice, pulses, and oils. These items were provided to the elderly at Prashanthi Old Age Home in Srikakulam, mentally challenged individuals at Behara Mano Vikasa Kendram in Srikakulam, and patients at the Leprosy Prevention Centre in Pogiri.
Regional head Tilak led the event, accompanied by members of the initiative's committee, including P. Ravi, MVSSNGV Prasad, Reshma, Vaikuntha Rao, Indira, and Santoshi. Bank union members Tejaswar Rao and Srinivas, along with staff members Gayathri, Chaitanya, and others, actively participated in this noble initiative.
The programme underscored the bank’s commitment to community welfare, extending support to underprivileged and vulnerable groups in society.
