Vijayawada: Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has said the Union Budget is designed to guide the country towards the vision of a developed India.

“The provision of Rs 10 lakh worth of credit cards is expected to provide a boost to micro and small industries. Additionally, the provision of Rs 2 crore loans for 5 lakh SC/ST women entrepreneurs will promote financial independence among women from these communities,” he said.
Pawan welcomed raising the Kisan Credit Cards limit to Rs 5 lakh.
On Andhra Pradesh, he stated that the support from Prime Minister Narendra Modi continues in the central budget. “The approval of revised estimates for the Polavaram project will accelerate the completion of this lifeline project for the state. An allocation of Rs 5,936 crore for the Polavaram project and Rs 12,157 crore as a balance grant is a positive development.”
He added, “The allocation of ₹3,295 crore for the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant confirms the commitment of the NDA government towards its preservation. The Rs 730 crore allocations for the Visakhapatnam Port will enhance its capacity and open up opportunities for commercial expansion.”
