UPSC Preliminary Exam Sees High Attendance in Visakhapatnam
Visakhapatnam: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) preliminary examination, a crucial gateway to India's prestigious civil service positions, was conducted smoothly across 26 centers in Visakhapatnam on Sunday.
District collector A. Mallikarjuna personally oversaw the examination process, conducting surprise inspections at Krishna College and Gayatri College in MVP Colony.
This proactive approach ensured adherence to exam guidelines and a comfortable environment for the test-takers.
A total of 9,735 candidates had registered for the exam in Visakhapatnam, with an impressive turnout of 4,677 appearing on the day. The district administration, led by the district revenue officer, meticulously planned and executed the examination arrangements, ensuring a seamless experience for aspiring civil servants.
