Srisailam Devasthanam.
Kurnool: The Srisailam Devasthanam will conduct free Samuhika Varalakshmi Vratam on the second and fourth Fridays of Shravana Masam, on August 16 and 30, respectively. On the second Friday, 1,500 married women will participate, while on the fourth Friday, up to 750 women from the Chenchu community and 750 other devotees will join.
Married women wishing to participate must register on August 15 between 11 am and 5 pm at the publications section of the devasthanam office or online at www.srisailadevasthanam.org. The vratam will be held at the Chandravati Kalyana Mandapam, with separate Kalasa set up for each participant.
After the ritual, participants will receive the darshan of Sri Swamy and Ammavaru and be given Kailasa Kankanam. For devotees unable to attend in person, the devasthanam offers a Paroksha Arjitha Seva on both Fridays. A fee of `1,116 is required to perform the Vratam indirectly, payable online at www.srisailadevasthanam.org.
