Varra Ravindra Reddy in Police Custody for Two Days
Kadapa: YSRC party social media activist Varra Ravindra Reddy has been sent to two days of police custody.
The police filed a petition requesting 10 days of custody, but the court granted only two days and directed that Ravinder Reddy be questioned in the presence of his counsel.
Pulivendula Police will take him into custody at 9 a.m. tomorrow from Rajahmundry Central Jail, where he is currently lodged.
Ravinder Reddy was arrested for allegedly posting derogatory and abusive content about the family members of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan on social media. Two of his associates, who allegedly provided shelter to Ravinder Reddy despite knowing his actions, were also arrested.
