Vijayawada: Naidu, Bhuvaneswari Offer Prayers at Kana Durga Temple
Vijayawada: Nara Chandrababu Naidu, who took oath as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh for the fourth time, visited the Goddess Kanaka Durgamma shrine with his wife Nara Bhuvaneshwari.
NTR district collector Dilli Rao, endowments commissioner Satyanarayana, RJC Ratna Raju, and the Durgamalleswara Swamy Warla Devasthanam executive officer S Rama Rao welcomed the CM.
VMC commissioner Swapnil Pundkar, RDO Bhavani Shankar, minister Kollu Ravindra, MP Kesineni Shivanath (Chinni), MLC Panchumurthy Anuradha, Gudivada MLA Venigandla Ram, Telugu Desam leaders Buddha Venkanna, K Pattabhi Ram, Nagul Meera, Jampala Sitaramaiah and others gave the CM a warm welcome.
After that, the CM and his wife reached the Rajagopuram where they were treated to a traditional dance by a set of children. From there, Vedic scholars of the temple welcomed the CM family with Purnakumbham and took them for the goddess Durga darshan.
After performing a special puja to the goddess, Vedic scholars offered Naidu and his family blessings at the Ashirvada Mandapam. The commissioner of the Devadaya Department and the temple EO handed over Durga's relics, silk clothes, and an image of the goddess to the CM.
