Vijayawada: Newborn's body found in drainage

Vijayawada: The body of a newborn baby boy, wrapped in clothes, was found abandoned in a drain near Kolanukonda in Tadepalli mandal, Guntur district, on Tuesday morning. According to Tadepalli police, they received information about the infant's body behind the Ganganamma temple. The body was sent to the government hospital in Guntur for a postmortem. The identity of the infant is yet to be determined. A case has been registered, and an investigation is underway.
