Vijnana Vihar Students Impress Union Minister Bhupathiraju Srinivasa Varma

Visakhapatnam: Students of Vijnana Vihara, a residential school affiliated to Vijnana Bharati in Gudilova, observed the institution’s 45th anniversary in the presence of Union Minister of State for Steel and Heavy Industries Bhupathiraju Srinivasa Varma on Sunday.

Also present were MLA Vishnu Kumar Raju and Rajya Sabha member Golla Babu Rao. Around 66 sports events were held in the school playground from 3pm to 4pm.

The events were inaugurated by the central minister while Babu Rao unveiled the sports medal. Around 50 students gave a wonderful performance that made the school band sound like a military band. The students played music in a rhythmic manner.

Srinivasa Varma said Vignana Vihara has been providing exemplary education. The institution was started with a purpose of enhancing the moral values of students through value-based education, he noted.

“While many educational institutions generally prepare students only for getting good marks, Vignana Vihara provides a special training that instills courage in the students,’’ Varma said.

Golla Baburao said, “Children are fortunate to study in this institution.” BJP MLA Vishnu Kumar Raju also spoke.
