Waltair division celebrates constitution day
Visakhapatnam: The Waltair Division of East Coast Railway commemorated National Constitution Day with a celebration on Tuesday, reaffirming the core principles of India's democratic framework.
Divisional Railway Manager Manoj Kumar Sahoo led the observance at the Divisional Railway Manager's Office, joined by Additional Divisional Railway Manager (Infra) E Santharam, branch officers, and staff members. The event centred around a collective reading of the Preamble of the Indian Constitution, a tradition that underscores the document's fundamental values.
Beyond the divisional headquarters, the celebration extended across the railway network. Employees at various stations and depots participated in a virtual preamble reading. The division also displayed informative banners and posters at railway stations and on trains, aimed at educating passengers about the significance of Constitution Day.
